Private Lesson  – Individual Instruction

Technique is reviewed as it pertains to each training set during a practice session.  Often we will pull aside swimmers who may need additional remarks to complete a drill or set correctly, but quickly get them back into the training sets. As the season progresses, swimmers benefit from private lessons for various reasons

• Some swimmers respond best with individual attention

• Others get lost in the big group

• Some swimmers have a hard time retaining instructions given within a group setting due to distractions (training goals and a busier environment).

• Individual attention allows us to provide uninterrupted attention and fine tune the smallest details.

• We also can provide video feedback during a lesson.  

• Lessons for 7-year-old and above. Due to our all-deep 7.5 foot pool, these are not “learn to swim” classes

Pricing

– Single 30-minute sessions

• $75 for non-Academy swimmers

• $60 for Academy swimmers

-Single 30-minute sessions with 2 swimmers simultaneously

• $60 per swimmer for non-Academy swimmers ($120 total)

• $50 per swimmer for Academy swimmers  ($100 total)

-Package of four 30-minute sessions*

• $240 for non-Academy swimmers

• $200 for Academy swimmers

*Lesson packages valid for 4 months. All 4 sessions must be used within that 4 month period.

Scheduling Policy

Please contact megan@austinswimclub.org  to schedule a private lesson.  You also can schedule with your group coach specifically if you are an active ASC member.   

Cancellation Policy

We understand illness and sudden changes in schedule, but please contact the person giving the lesson as soon as possible.  Repeated cancellations or no-show appointments may result in disallowing further appointments to be made.
