Austin Swim Club is very proud to announce that National Team member, Josh Artmann, has committed the University of Texas Men’s Swimming and Diving Team, Class of 2020! “I felt it in my gut that UT was the place for me,” Josh said. “UT is the place I can and will succeed. Cant wait to be a longhorn! Hook’em!”
He lives in North Austin, but commutes daily to Austin Swim Club because of the world class facility and coaching provided by Olympic icon, Brendan Hansen. Josh was definitely being courted by many Division One schools, but selected the University of Texas for many reasons, including its legendary status in the collegiate s
wimming world. Needless to say, several Longhorns have gone on to represent the United States and other countries in several Olympic games and we have no doubt that Josh has the talent and perseverance to go the distance!
