Camp Quality

Austin Aquatics & Sports Academy is a premiere facility with an outdoor heated Olympic-sized pool, indoor training facility, and world-class staff.  The camp is scheduling their swim sessions around the French National Team who will also be training at the facility the same time.  GM and Head Coach, Brendan Hansen, who’s leading at least one of our sessions, is a 3x Olympic gold medalist and 2x world record holder.  The staff at AASA aren’t just local pros. They’re quite literally world-class athletes, coaches and mentors to the athletes they work with on a daily basis.

 Camp Cost

The instructional portion of the camp is only $175 which includes the premiere facility, SAG support, some meals, and nine certified coaches.

 Camp Culture

This camp is as much about the kids bonding and building lifelong relationships as it is training and skill development.  It is more than just training sessions and instructional clinics.  We train and develop skills locally year round.  Some of the most impactful moments happen during the activities around the training sessions when the kids are eating, playing games, having game night, etc.  They learn from and are motivated by their peers and camp staff in what is often very impromptu conversations.  Camp is special.  It fuels the soul and inspires the athletes to be able to take on the training and season of challenges that is to come.

Camp Location

It is very important to get the kids away from the typical training environment.  Sometimes you need to break out of the normal routine to stimulate change and growth.  The kids need a break from the local training environment.  They need to get instruction from different coaches who communicate and connect with the kids in different ways.  They need to conquer new frontiers like different places and the hills in the Austin Hill Country.  When displaced from the norm, the kids are much more open to the new and it is likely to have a longer mental and emotional impact on them.
